UofC MSA – Calgary

The University of Calgary Muslim Students’ Association strives to promote an awareness of Islam on campus by clarifying the ideas and concepts of Islam. We aim to provide a welcoming social environment for students through a variety of engaging events and programs throughout the year.

Your MSA understands the constant struggle of Muslim students to balance their academic commitments and religious responsibilities. By providing space for regular salah and opportunities for scholastic improvement, we hope to help you strike that balance.

The MSA is amongst the largest Students’ Union clubs; we are constantly seeking to build bridges on campus and with the larger community. Our organization thrives on the dedication of our volunteers and we are always looking for keen brothers & sisters to join our team!

IAW will be held during the February 5th to 9th and will include multiple events; displays in MacHall, speakers from around the world, open discussions etc. Each day we will have a renowned guest speaker come in and give a lecture on an issue. The objective is to dispel misconceptions that fuel Islamophobia in the hopes of building a better pluralistic society through understanding, mutual respect and collaboration. All talks will be held in KNB 132 at the University of Calgary from 6pm to 8pm.
